I've got Friday night at Garcia Brogan's inked in on the calendar for the Moving Lowell Forward (MLF) kickoff event. Other than coming to the event, scarfing down hearty portions of food and beer, and making a small donation if asked, I had no specific way of supporting or advertising the event, as it's already been mentioned by Lynne and Cliff.
But when I saw the level to which one downtowner had already gone to champion the kickoff, I was impressed enough to stop, take a picture, and post.
I noticed that particular license plate previous to the nascence of "Moving Lowell Forward", so other explanations could include that it's somebody's initials (an example I've followed on my own car) or perhaps it's intended as an homage to Millard "Lucky 13" Fillmore.
ReplyDeleteTheir mistake, our gain.
ReplyDeleteOr, they are really, really prescient.

Guys,
ReplyDeleteI think it may be a combination of all the above, but I'm leaning in the combined prescience/early enthusiasm direction.
Then again, I could be wrong.
After all, I was the guy who kept asking on the Civil War battlefield tour why the two sides kept choosing to fight on National Park Sites..I never could get a straight answer from the guides..

I hope Marshall Field gets to see his license plate on your blog.
ReplyDeleteKMM,
ReplyDeleteIf he does, I'll have to credit his parents' amazing prescience to having named him years ago for a Political Action Committee that was formed in 2009.
