This could be a really interesting event to attend and photograph if you're able. Info from the city is italicized below:
Ngrid and Verizon have completed their scope of utility reclocation, and
removed all the overhead wires that were preventing the crane assisted removal
of the temporary bridge across the Hamilton Canal.
The crane is scheduled to be on site tomorrow morning at 7:30, with the
actual pick likely happening around 9:00 to 9:30. The entire bridge will be
picked at once and placed on Jackson St, then rolled down Jackson to the dead
end area past the intersection with Canal St. Then the bridge will be
disassembled and prepared to be transported back to MaDot's temporary bridge
facility.
The removal of the bridge will allow for the final phase of the HCD - Canal
St Bridge/ Jackson St Project. The anticipated construction schedule is 3-4
weeks until they are ready for final pavement and striping.
Please feel free to pass along to anyone who may be of interest.
* Major bonus points if you recognized that They Might Be Giants reference.

"final" phase? It would seem that the Jackson street extension and intersection at Thorndike/Dutton/Fletcher would be a necessary step to enable the Trial Court as an operating entity. And then there is the growth across the Pawtucket canal before we can say we are entering the final phase.
Missed it, but thanks.
